The Founder
Oscar Searle
Founder & Creative Director
Creative Wave was founded by Oscar Searle, a filmmaker, editor and creative from Wānaka, New Zealand.
Oscar grew up around the mountains, lakes, trails and action sports that shape the Creative Wave style today. After getting his first GoPro at 9 years old, he became hooked on capturing movement, adventure and real moments through a camera.
What started as filming skiing, biking and outdoor content has grown into a creative media business working with brands, events and businesses across video, photo and social content.
At 15, Oscar is building Creative Wave with a clear goal: to create work that feels real, cinematic and built with purpose.
